Your head in the clouds, the clouds in your head. I’ve always been a day dreamer and this artwork to me represents the imaginary world inside my mind where I can take refuge, envision, create, invent or just chill out and ponder. I drew this guy up in pencil then very carefully cut out the windows with a scalpel (nerve racking :s) to reveal the photo behind. Keep on day dreaming dudes.

I think this one speaks for itself. Inspired by Gee Vaucher’s Liberty it’s a sign of the times and the inevitable future. Pencil on paper.

Hawks, wolves, snakes, hidden symbolism and dark mystic weirdness this is one of my Volcom favs. Another time consuming hand drawn number, Seer was a real labour of love.

Well, its the end of the month which means its time to hand over the controls to November editor Mr Ozzie Wrong. But before I do I’d just like to thank all you web crawlers out there for checking in to check out the blog. We’ve Seen some cool pix, watched some vids and shared a few laughs. I’ve enjoyed our October together and I hope you’ve managed to garner a little insight into my strange world here at Volcom Oz. As Ozzie takes the reigns I can assure you all that you’re all in for a bumpy, helter skelter ride through a land of surfing werewolves, unicorns and vampirates.
As a rockin musician, surfer, artist and all round creative powerhouse Ozzie is a man that continues to inspire me in every aspect of my life as I’m sure he’ll inspire you.
Enough from me.
Go ahead Ozzie Make My Daze.
Peace,
Jamie Browne
